After reading reviews .I was surprised to see how easy assembly was .. I let it run for a few days few days to allow the filter taste to disperse. Then I placed it near their normal water dishes and within 2 days they were both using it and have stopped trying to get water from the taps. I refresh the water daily from my kettle just to ensure it remains clean . They never liked their water dishes but they love the fountain.

Oh how I wish I had purchased this year’s ago!!My 8 year old cat and 4 month kitten love drinking from this fountain. I’ve read on some reviews that it’s noisy! It ain’t.. If placed directly on laminate or tiles it is. The vibration of the pump makes it noisy I’ve put a piece of small mat ( the ones used to place cat food trays on. u can buy them for a pound),It’s gone very quiet since.If you place the wires properly underneath, it will be very quiet. You have to refill it every few days as water evaporates . Keep it topped up to the lines on the side as it makes it easier for the cats to drink from it.Both my cats love it and YES I would definitely recommend it. Worth the monies.

My cat took to this within seconds of me plugging it in. I bought it because of her attraction to drinking from the toilet bowl (ew!) and with children who forget to close the lid this was really bugging me. Now she prefers the fountain (phew) and I LOVE that it comes with USB or mains capability so we have it in the bathroom plugged into a little USB power pack which lasts 24 hours. My cat has never been so hydrated.. seriously… she loves it!!!

Was a little reluctant to get one of these – it seemed an an unnecessary expense. But as my cat keeps letting UTI’s due to being dehydrated & overweight I thought I’d give it a go. She loves it. Only really drinks from the water fountain now, even though she has other bowls around the house. I’d recommend 100%

Those that have reviewed that the noise is a problem , you just need to top up the water when it gets to half empty,which you can see through the window,then no more noise from the pump. The item is a brilliant buy. My cat was a bit suspicious for a day or two but once he started drinking from it that was him happy and drinks much more than he did. He’s an indoor cat so I could tell from the litter tray that he was taking in much more fluids than he was before the purchase. I’m so pleased as it’s always a problem getting kitties to drink enough hence the common kidney problems they can end up with. Big bonus for me is not having to dash to turn the tap on especially as he always asks at the most in-opertune moments. Would highly recommend this fantastically priced little gem.

It took a week or two for the cats to start using this (lots of lessons from Mum : ) but now they love it. Can’t believe how quiet is is! The motor is silent – if anything, all you can hear is the water trickling. Also occasionally you have to push the daisy down if you can hear a little hum, but…its just so quiet! I was concerned that my British Shorthair family were simply not drinking enough water, and that this would inevitably lead to later health problems, as water is the key ingredient to health for all living things. My thoughts were that the cats distrust still water as potentially stagnant; that hunching over a bowl is uncomfortable and that flowing water would likely taste nicer for them. So I bought this fountain. It arrived almost instantaneously and the three little ones were attracted to it and drinking from it in no time. We have two fountains in the house for them and the water level on this newer purchase is going down faster than the other one, even though both fountains are adjacent. My thoughts as a pet owner is that if you can spend 20 quid here and there on the little ones for infrastructure to improve the quality of their life, then you should do it. After all, your pet will be here for part of your life, but for him, you are his life.
