The reason I give it 4 stars for suction is because where the mat has been rolled it curled at the end and it is very hard to get the suction caps to stay stuck to the shower surface. So that being the case I don’t use that end – in fact I am thinking of cutting it off.

Not much you can say really. It’s blue, goes in the bath, has suction cups on the bottom to stop it moving and so far my kids haven’t slipped over when standing up in the bath.Does what it’s supposed to and for a good price.

It’s a bit hard to rate this item. It works GREAT to keep us from slipping in the shower; honestly, it is incredibly well made and feels great on the feet (meaning it is not rough, it is not so smooth as to be slippery, and it keeps your feet well planted). This mat also stays where you put it, no slipping or sliding of the mat, so you feel secure while standing on it. And, although we don’t use in the tub (because we don’t take baths), I’m certain it would work just as well in that area. All in all, it certainly deserves a 4 star rating but there is a potential drawback for others.Now for what I don’t like and was not expecting. Water does flow thru it and down the drain, but suds do not. So if you were to just leave the mat in the stall all the time, I’ve no doubt you’d end up with a gunky soap scum effect on the shower floor which is exactly why folks have moved away from using shower/bath mats in the first place. BUT it is easy to solve this problem by doing what I had intended in the first place. Once I’ve finished showering, I simply lift the mat and rinse it off. That allows the soap suds to flow down the drain and leaves a “soap scum free” mat in its wake. Then I simply stick the mat to the side wall of the shower, loosely, so it can air dry. Done…and problem solved. Next shower, simply grab the mat and plop it on the shower floor, press down along the sides to create the suction needed to keep it in place, and shower away without slipping.I chose the mat over appliques because I’ve read an awful lot of bad reviews on those products. I entertained anti-slip tape as well but read many bad reviews there as well. This mat does have holes throughout and water runs thru it very well. We have no water backing up so it’s simply a matter of the soap suds not running thru it. Not what I expected, but easily remedied.All in all, I’d buy it again and I do recommend it to others. But only if you are OK with rinsing it after each use (which is such a small task when the product allows you to feel secure in your shower/bath with no fear of slipping.

This mat is rubbish, it’s been moving when you get in the shower, doesn’t stick properly at all. I slipped when I got in the shower cos the mat moved when I got in. I’ve broken my rib and badly bruised my knee. Do not buy it’s not safe.

Our children (aged 8 and 6) are just getting used to showers (instead of baths) and this mat is great for providing a non slip surface. I like the fact it is square so and not rectangular so it does not take up all the bath area. It seems to stay in place well and dry out easily after showers. It is lightweight and I personally prefer the blue colour to white. Very pleased so far.

This is a good, well made square shower mat – good drainage holes and great suckers on the bottom.Once the suckers are pushed down, you don’t really feel them under your feet – so it’s not totally flat underfoot, but I like that, gives me a bit of feedback through my feet.Dimensions are as stated in the product description, 53 x 53cm/ 21 x 21inch.At £10.99 (at the time of review), this seems pretty good value – no reason not to give 5

I saw this shower mat and wanted to order it based on it’s very clinical, clean looking white colour. The one we were using at the time was a dark yellow colour and it was only when I noticed this one, I realised how much better a white one like this looks.It fits my shower floor well. I assume I have a standard size standalone shower. It does slightly hang over the plug hole but it doesn’t stop all the water from running away at all so makes no difference to me.It sticks to the floor well and hasn’t moved since I placed it down.What I love about this mat is how soft it is to stand on. My old shower mat seemed ok when standing on it. But it was only when I stood on this for the first time that I suddenly realised how soft this is in comparison. My husband noticed it instantly as well, so it’s not just me.I haven’t washed it yet, but when I do I will update this review.

Square shower mat, with sturdy bungs that cling to the shower base and prevent slippage. There are plenty of drainage holes to allow water to pass through so it doesn’t puddle on top of the mat. This mat has a strong quality feel to it and I am really pleased with it.The colour is described as white but it is actually clear which I much prefer.Yes there are cheaper mats around but I think for the quality it is reasonable priced at £10.99

This is certainly large in size and great value for money. It is a bright blue colour and the suction is very strong, therefore it is certainly non-slip. Useful for in the shower and can even be trimmed with scissors if it doesn’t quite fit, although the edging detail will be lost of you do this.Performs well and highly recommended at this price point of around £10.
