The humidifier arrived this morning and has been in operation ever since. I bought this as my skin suffers during the winter because of the central heating making the air so dry. I could feel the difference in a very short time and where normally by the end of the day my skin is itchy and sore, today that was not the case. To say I’m delighted would be an understatement.The item seems well built and durable and having a large water tank means I won’t be constantly having to fill it. It arrived well packed and a day earlier than expected.Looking forward to hopefully not having sore and itchy skin this winter.Just a final observation, I noticed that the air was much fresher in the room it was in and when I went to bed I easily moved it into the bedroom.

This is great for big rooms! I have a super king bed and my son’s cot is in the same room (his is 1.40 m long) and there is space to walk. So a big bedroom and I can fill the tank every 3 days and is enough for a 12h in min-med speed. With min Speed is enough most days. The only CON with this item is that the base can’t be properly washed because the electric stuff is there so you can only use a wipe. What makes this even worst is that in order to fully empty the base you need to unplug the whole thing (and it is kind of big). If you don’t, all the mould from having water gets stuck there. Not nice!

Have a gas fire in the lounge which does rather dry the air hence the requirement for a humidifier. Very pleased with this product, easy to fill with water, silent operation so found it necessary to have the blue light on to act as a reminder to switch the humidifier off when not required. Have it set at mid point and the water in the tank lasts for a good length of time.

I have asthma, but control it well. And then we had a multi fuel stove installed…Within a couple of hours I was coughing and spluttering and starting to feel uncomfortable. Didn’t give it a thought that the dry air of the Woodburner would kick off the asthma. After a day’s research and reading reviews here on this product, decided to give it a go. Fantastic results and it brought immediate relief, thank goodness. My husband also commented that he enjoyed the cooling mist this unit brings and actually made his throat much more comfortable as well. Lots of different power settings and very easy to use and fill. I purchased this humidifier as my partner and I both have Asthma and it is hard to breath at nights on winter. We decided to give it go and it has improved our nights of sleep. The humidifier is large but that makes it suitable to hold large volume of water, which means we can leave it on from the time we come home from work until the next morning and it still holds water. You can modify the intensity to your liking as it doesn’t have setting as most humidifiers but a a gradual adjuster which is great. It also includes a lead light which you can decide to have on or off. Overall it is a great product and I would recommend it.

I’m a professional singer. I work on ships. Anyone who sings on ships will tell you to survive, you need a humidifier. This one has been amazing. I took it away for two months and it’s been on, minimum half power, pretty much 24 hours a day. It’s been amazing.First, it breaks down in to 5 parts. I managed to fit it in to a suitcase (with my desktop PC and monitor so, very do-able without a weight limit!). I travelled the length of the country by train, lugged my bag across Hull and Newcastle and from one to the other. No damage, no sign of it not working. Great.You can put 4 or 5 drops of olbas oil in the scent tray thing and it disperses it beautifully.On full power, it easily lasted a full nights sleep. I guess about 10-12 hours when its full and on full power. For the record, when it is, it quickly turns your cabin in to a rain forest, love it!The light can be nice for reading etc.If you’re going away on a 6 months contract on a ship, this humidifier is worth its weight in gold.Critical feedback: Two things, 1st, if you could shape it to fit better in a suitcase (maybe make a travel version), great. Us travelling singers can afford to lose a litre or so for easier transport.Second: the inside blue part (kind of like a handle to get it off the stand) came off. A foldaway handle would make getting it off the base a little easier but, by no means a huge problem. Thank you so much!

Just got this 2 days ago, and its up and running since. Easy to assemble, the water tank was a bit tricky to fill cause its upside down. Best is to fill it up and wait till the machine tells u to fill it again. Very happy, the mist that it gives out is more than expected. It does make a low noise when operating but nothing that will drive you crazy. Its comes with a 3 pin plug, since i live in Germany, i just had to find my international adapter and plug it in. All good from the photos!

This is a fantastic product. I bought this for my 10month olds bedroom to help her sleep as she coughs all night long. This humidifier was so quiet it didn’t disturb her sleep, the light could be switched off so it wasn’t too bright. And with a bit of Olbas oil in the diffuser tray she has had several consecutive great nights sleep, with a massive reduction in her coughing.Delighted with it and well worth buying!

The vapour looks cool and works within first turn of the knob.Great power of vapour pressure to get up those sinuses when using menthal oils.Love the blue led light to make it flow.Only unexpected downfall is that the vapour dose not heat up so it really is a cold vapour in your face, guess you could poor boiling water from a kettle or hit water from the tap but that will just cause limescale so I’d rather avoid complications.It’s a good device on the hole.

Easy to get it set up, that is add water, and use a scent of your choice, have not have a humidifier previously I am a pensioner, never the less I had no problems what ever. We use it through the night with the blue light on, become aware that its helping my asthma symptoms, breathing has become easier, and the nightime coughing i used to suffer has reduced noticeably, thats got to be very good. well made product, looks good, can’t fault the price, likely to buy another one for downstairs. Bought a new humidifier as the old one (Branded) used to get mouldy in places i couldnt reach! Threw it away in the end. Bought this after seeing reviews and im so pleased i did. My wife and I love this little thing. We both used to wake up groggy and tired both with headaches, there’s justone window in our bedroom and air doesn’t cycle.But since we’ve been using this we’ve been sleeping fine. We turned the blue light off, though it does make itvery nice to watch, but not at night though it does illuminate the room quiet a bit.Sound wise, it’s not really anything, I sleep with ear plugs anyways, but my wife sleeps though it without an issue.Can’t comment on scent, not used any at the moment.It’s dead easy to use and it’ll probably need filling every other day, but thats not an issue.Love it!!!

Amazing, lasts ages and is silent. The light is too bright at night but it’s perfect that it can be switched off. The only negative thing I can say is that it gets mouldy fast and its really difficult to clean inside. I tend to use this for my plants but it’s been lovely in hot weather in the bedroom, cools down the air perfectly.

After a few weeks’ use I really can’t fault this product. Being 3.8L it is physically large, so make sure that’s what you want before buying. The advantage of alarge product is that you can go a long time without needing to refill it. In fact, I’ve just refilled it for the first time, which was a painless process. The rate at which it pumps out moisture is most impressive and easily adjustable over a wide range. Adjusting the direction is as simple as turning the spout.What criticism can I give? Well, none that doesn’t apply to all similar products really. Some of the fragrance oils (purchased independently – not part of the product) can be a bit faint. You do have to have a supply of cotton pads on hand for the oils, but they’re cheap enough and easy to find. The vapours *might* not fill anything bigger than a mid-sized bedroom. What tends to happen is the visible clouds of water vapour fall no more than 1.5m from the unit. Evaporation and diffusion will eventually take the fully vaporised (and by then invisible) water a further distance but without specialist knowledge I’m not sure how even the distribution will be in a large room. Whilst quiet, these devices are a long way from silent when compared to a candle. You wouldn’t want it on in your bedroom all night. But all electronic vaporisers are going to have these issues, so don’t let that put you off choosing this one.Definitely recommended.–Edit Jan 2019–After a year’s use, this product is still running like a dream. You do need to keep it clean on the inside. I find I have to add a little dilute bleach from time to time to remove the scum. But that’s not a big deal. I would still buy this product again and still recommend it with 5 stars.

I already bought a Vicks warm air humidifier which is good but the vicks pads cost a fortune and do not last that long. So I bought this cold air humidifier for our 3 month old baby who has breathing issues. The humidifier has been amazing and works really well especially for the small price tag. It comes with a little tray that you can put essential oils in, which helps clear little ones nasal passages. There is also a button to turn on a night light which helps to see in the dark when doing night feeds.Really well built and easy to useFast delivery and worth every penny.

Better than I thought it would be for the price. Has a good size of tank and on 50% strength that normally last around 36 hours or so. The variable power is useful as we turn it down at night.Operation is very quiet, you can hear a low hum at night if you try but not noticeable during the day. The LED is useful as a night light (we use it on our landing instead of the main light).Overall a good device and so far it’s been just what we needed.Would be good to get a humidity sensor added to check the level and an auto on function, but for the price that’s probably wishful thinking.

I started with an air cleaner which improved my sleeping because it sorted my blocked nose, but i was also suffering from dry eyes and sinusitis (a gift of aging) I did some research and found others had tried a humidifier to help protect the delicate tissues found up noses and in eyes. I bought this humidifier because it had a nice big tank and a very simple design at a good price. It, coupled with the air cleaner have made a huge difference to my comfort and quality of sleep. It is quiet and delivers a gentle stream of cool vapour into the room, the large tank means I don’t have to worry about constant refilling or it running dry. My one niggle is that it is a little unwieldy. It’s quite heavy when full. (a handle?) And maybe some line up arrows so you can see quickly how to join the top to the bottom? All in all I am very pleased. It is neat, discreet and has a reassuring build quality.

I’ve been through a few humidifiers but they have not lasted very long. This product is great. It’s noise level is negligible, it’s very easy to use and the dial has a number of settings depending on how much steam you want. It’s very powerful and thanks to its large water capacity can keep going all day and night if necessary.

Can’t fault the humidifier. It is great. The stream of humidified air is able to be angled to the area of the room you want it. I have not tried the scented oil function yet. The water tank is a great size which allows me to use the humidifier on maximum throughout the night ans still have hours left before the water runs out.I don’t know why I waited so long to buy one.
