First of all, no instructions come with this and there are no pictures on the box, however, this didn’t bother me as I thought, how difficult can it be? Once you check the pictures on Amazon it’s quite easy to follow but having said that it is a little misleading. The egg separator is standard, so is the grated (although this is plastic not stainless steel as stated). There are 2 dicing blades, one roughly 1/4 inch the other roughly 1/2 inch. To use these you need to put the plastic square with all the little pointy bits on it into the top of the handle and the blade into the bottom slot, put the food in between and press down. It needs quite a bit of force and a couple of times I thought the handle would snap but it didn’t so it’s obviously stronger than it seems.these are good for dicing onions, potatoes, carrots etc. For the other blades (and the grater) you need to take out the square with the pointy bits on it (sorry I can’t think of a better way to describe it!),put the blade into the slot on the top of the handle part and you can slide the food across the blade using the holder. Two of the blades are for shredding or julienne, one roughly 1/8 inch, the other smaller. One blade is for slicing, again very thinly, suitable for cucumber, carrots etc, Not tried it with tomatoes or hard boiled eggs though. The other blade is the one shown as a lattice cutter in the photos on amazon. It does do this for potatoes but you need to turn the potato around by 90 degrees in between each cut, otherwise you get a wavy slice. Again, these slices are very thin, so when cooked they will be crisps, not proper English chips. There isn’t a blade that will cut the thicker chips unless you try pushing the potato through the large dicer without the pointed square (you would need to leave the handle up to do this). This would take quite some force and it would probably be quicker to just cut them by hand. I’ve put all this explanation to try and help people decide if it is suitable for them as I’d noticed that in the questions someone has said you can use it to cut chips, hope it helps.

Generally quite happy with this product.Blades are easy to change out.I use this most often to cut potatoes into chips which it does well, just need to put a bit more pressure on it, to cut through them.My only criticism is that the plastic base is now out of shape and a bendy rectangle shape after being washed in the dishwasher. This causes a problem as the plastic top does not secure property onto it. So I would suggest to others not to wash this part in the dishwasher.The rest of the bits wash well in there.

Who knew, this had been missing from my life. It is great quality, stainless steel blades, it is strong and chops about everything. I make salads with ease, it has different slicing, grating and dicing attachments. I made Crisps the other day. It also came with a fantastic quality peeler which wasn’t listed. I can highly recommend it. No instructions though, still it was fun working it all out.

Prodotto non di buona fattura, non va messo in lavastoviglie, non ci sono istruzioni, la parte superiore non si fissa ma ‘balla” tutti il tempo, quindi é molto facile farsi del male, la presa per la grattugia utile solo per cibi solidi come patate, il cavolo é quasi impossibile da grattugiare. La lama con i quadretti piccoli adatta solo alle verdure molto morbide. Bisogna lavorare su un piano molto spazioso e pulito perché i pezzi delle verdura vengono sparsi ovunque. Il contenitore é piccolo, ancora meno stabile se si aggiunge il cestino interno verde e da l’impressione di essere molto fragile.Non lo consiglierei e tanto meno lo ricomprerei. Sono quasi decisa di rimandarlo indietro.

Have used this about a month now and it has transformed my cooking.It slices, dices and strips with ease. The blades are really sharp and keep their sharpness for a long time.My only concern is that the dicing grids are quite difficult to clean, but something like a cotton tip turns it from difficult to merely time-consuming. Still, far less time than it would take me to dice large quantities of vegetables.
